    School Lunch

Delicious, Nutritious, and Inspiring School Lunches

At our school, lunchtime is about more than just food — it’s about fuelling young minds and bodies with meals that are healthy, delicious, and full of variety. We believe that every child deserves a meal that is both nourishing and exciting, helping them to thrive throughout their school day.

We are proud to be working alongside Chefs in Schools, an award-winning charity on a mission to transform school food across the country. Their dedicated team visits schools daily to:

    • Train and inspire school chefs
    • Lead change programmes that make a real difference
    • Advise on smarter food procurement
    • Raise nutrition standards and meal uptake

Together, we’re bringing quality inspiration into the school dining hall. Meals are freshly prepared, packed with flavour, and designed to give our pupils the balance of nutrition and taste they need.

By working with Chefs in Schools, we are part of a growing movement making school food something to be proud of — meals that pupils look forward to and parents can trust.

''Due to the Mayor of London's funding, all primary school children are able to access free school dinners.''

We regularly review our school menu's to cater for changing trends and the seasons of the year. There is a 3-week menu which changes every term, providing three choices per day and includes a vegetarian option.

A copy of the current menu is available below.

Parents/carers on Income Support/Income-based Job Seekers Allowance/Universal Credits must fill in a Free School Meals form in order to register children for school meals. This form needs to be completed even if you wish your child to have a packed lunch. Forms can be obtained from the school office.

Children may bring their own packed lunch, but we ask that they do not change from a school meal to a packed lunch or vice-versa during a school week. Any school meal changes should be emailed to the school office by completing a school meal change request form available here with at least one weeks notice being provided. Forms should be emailed to: admin@lancs-pri.haringey.sch.uk

Children who go home for lunch, must be returned to school in time for afternoon registration. This is to comply with health and safety regulations.

All meat we serve is Halal.
