    Welcome to our School

Lancasterian Primary is a safe and welcoming learning community where we all aim high, everyone is included and creativity is valued. We are a two form entry school in the heart of Tottenham, a busy, exciting and energetic part of London, and we are proud of our diverse, welcoming and enthusiastic learning community. In our vision we state that ‘we will make a fairer society’ and that, in order to do this, ‘we will make the best school’; we persistently seek to find new ways to improve and enhance our offer to our children and the local community, working closely with pupils, parents & carers and other stakeholders to ensure that we are getting the provision right. Our values of inclusion, lifelong learning, growth mindset, integrity, high aspirations and respect underpin everything that we do.

In June 2023 we were thrilled to have our school’s achievements recognised by Ofsted, who stated, “Pupils here belong to a caring and inclusive school. They show respect and kindness towards each other and build positive, trusting relationships with staff. Leaders have established a set of values that are central to the life of the school. Pupils reflect these values in all that they do. Pupils enjoy coming to school. They are happy here… Leaders are providing pupils with a high-quality education. They show a strong commitment to the pupils and community they serve.”

Ofsted judged our school as follows:

    Behaviour and Attitudes - OUTSTANDING

    Personal Development - OUTSTANDING

    Early Years Provision - OUTSTANDING

    Leadership and Management - OUTSTANDING

    Quality of Education - GOOD

    Overall Effectiveness - GOOD

"The amazing Early Years team at Lancs made my son's transition to reception very easy for him. He was in Lancs nursery and was feeling very worried about going into reception. He loves Deidre and all the nursery team, and they did a really lovely and supportive transition with him - talking about reception and visiting the classrooms. When he arrived on the first day, lots of familiar faces were there were there to welcome him. Reception is such a fun place, he's really enjoying it and we always notice he comes home a very happy boy! "

“My daughter always talks about the 6 values family at Lancasterian as if they are actual human beings. She says “I’m gonna be Leila lifelong learning today, as I’m going to learn as much as I can because I wanna know everything in the world”. There are days she is at school where she feels she did not do too well. She would come home and say “tomorrow is Hetty (high aspirations) day, I’m not gonna give up, I’m gonna try again because soon I’ll get it right. Which as a parent, is lovely to see, as it shows perseverance and determination. When she does good at school and receives a values card from the teacher, she is extra happy because she believes and knows anything she puts her mind to she can do and become. I am so proud of her”
