IF YOUR CHILD IS UNWELL
If a child appears ill or informs an adult that s/he is feeling unwell, then one of our qualified first aiders will comfort the child. In the event of a child being sick, the first aider will inform the emergency first aider on call who will contact the child’s parent/carer immediately. Similarly, if a child has an accident at school, parents will be informed, either immediately, by telephone or by a letter at the end of the day, depending on the severity of the accident. Parents are always informed if a child bumps his/her head. Minor cuts and grazes are treated by first aiders and all accidents, no matter how minor, are recorded in our Accident Book.
If your child is ill, please notify the school office as soon as possible. Please call 0208 808 8088 (Option 2) with your child's full name, Class and reason for absence. Upon your child’s return to school, please provide written confirmation of your child’s illness.
